BUFFERED MULTIPLE
The MULTIPLE BUFFERED module multiplies a signal identically, in a stable manner. This type of module is often used for CV volt/octave signals, thus guaranteeing perfect tracking. An alternative routing mode (“B”) is also offered on this module. All signals are accepted.
Mode A: 4x 1 IN to 3 OUT’s buffered or 2x 1 IN to 6 OUT’s buffered In this mode, a signal entering inputs 1, 2, 3 & 4 is reproduced to 3 outputs each. The 4 channels are independent, so you have 4X (1 IN to 3 OUT’s). If no cable is connected to “3”, channel 1 is linked to channel 3. Thus, the IN 1 input is reproduced towards OUT’s 1 and OUT’s 3. In this case, you have 1X (1 IN to 6 OUT’s) + 2X (1 IN to 3 OUT’s). If no cable is connected to “4”, channel 2 is linked to channel 4. Thus, the IN 2 input is reproduced towards OUT’s 2 and OUT’s 4. In this case, you have 2X (1 IN to 6 OUT’s).
B-Mode: This mode is very handy if you have a CV/GATE controller and want to use it in two different combinations in your modular system. Imagine that you connect in IN 1 the CV of this controller, and in IN 2, its GATE. In mode A, these signals are reproduced to the outputs OUT’s 1 & OUT’s 2 respectively. By selecting mode B, the signal entering IN 1 is routed to OUT’s 3 outputs and the signal entering IN 2 is routed to OUT’s 4 outputs. OUT’s 1 & 2 outputs are inactive. Blue circles surrounding the dedicated IN’s & OUT’s light up to indicate this mode. Available with black or white panel.
