The SIGNAL SWITCH module is a “MUTE” module composed of two independent stages, depending on the position of a jumper located on the back (2x mono or 1x stereo).
The use of high-quality Vactrols prevents annoying clicks when switching signals through the module and adds a subtle, pleasing fade-out (for this reason, it is preferable to use this module with AUDIO signals rather than CV or GATE signals). The signal muting is therefore clean and discreet.

Explanation: An input signal (“IN”) and an output signal (“OUT”) can be muted by activating a switch.

ON = switch up, the incoming signal is routed to the output and remains audible; a yellow LED illuminates.
MUTE = switch down, the incoming signal is muted. Using “vactrol” prevents an unpleasant click and provides a slight fade-out (the LED turns off).

The internal routing (normalization) is a passive multiple of input 1:
The signal entering input 1 is also routed to outputs 2 (which retain their own “MUTE” function). Inserting a jack into input 2 breaks the downstream routing. This allows for different combinations of uses, depending on your needs.

Another option:
A jumper on the back allows you to split the module, either:

into two independent stages for two mono signals (mode A)
or into one stage for a stereo signal (mode B). Thus, input 1 becomes the left channel and input 2 the right channel (the same applies to the outputs). The selector switch on input 1 controls both channels (the LEDs indicate the status of both channels).
